**30628 - DRILLING PLANNING SPECIALIST (PROJECT INTERFACE)**

At **Eni **, we are looking for a **Drilling Planning Specialist **within our Branch in **Qatar **. You will conduct technical planning and execution interface support for Drilling and Completions (D&C) operations in the North Field and onshore, contributing to seamless project execution and alignment with strategic objectives. You will provide a combination of individual technical contributions and expert level technical guidance for other team members with less experience in Project Interface, enhancing the team’s technical proficiency and project interface capabilities, leading to improve project execution and alignment with strategic objectives.

**As a member of the Development Planning Department, you will be responsible for**:

- Providing specialist level expertise for front end project/well(s) planning and engineering, coordinating D&C input to the Conceptual Development Plan (CDP) and providing technical and strategic insight and support as requested into D&C long-term contracting and procurement processes.
- Managing the project level D&C interfaces with shareholders and project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, priorities, designs and schedules.
- Managing the technical level interfaces effectively between D&C, stakeholders, service companies and shareholders, leading resolution of project generated interface queries, agreements and other formal clarifications.
- Managing project interface related risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies, determining if risk assessments and other early well planning technical reviews are required.
- Managing D&C's Jacket handover specific requirements during rig moves to ensure compliance with PMT's Care, Custody, Control (CCC) handover process.
- Preparing and stewarding the D&C Near-Term Rig Schedule (NTRS) and Long-Term Rig Schedule (LTRS), managing schedule conflict resolution to realize optimal utilization of resources and timely project execution.
- Developing D&C time and cost estimates for D&C related project funding, supporting a schedule of D&C funding needs to provide accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
- Stewarding D&C inputs into specific management, project and shareholder business reports, ensuring accurate and comprehensive reporting, facilitating informed decision-making and maintaining transparency with stakeholders.
- Supporting the stewardship of the Project Interface planning and coordination tools, and performance and optimization processes such as Project Interface register, performance reports, business controls and continuous improvement, to enhance project coordination and efficiency.Enhance Development Planning (DP) organizational capability, providing mentorship and guidance for Nationals, other Direct Hires, and Secondees with less experience in rig operations.

- Engineering degree.
- Extensive drilling engineering working experience; preference for experience in offshore drilling, extended reach drilling and drilling experience in carbonate reservoirs.
- Well control proficiency. Commitment to safe, environmentally sound well construction. Experience with H2S well designs and safety practices.
- Completions related working experience an advantage.
- Demonstrated competency in Well Control and Well Control Equipment; Directional Drilling Operations including Anti-Collision Planning; Extended Reach Drilling Planning and Operations; Liner Hanger Design and Installation Operations; Water based Drilling Fluid Technology; Wellhead and Downhole Equipment; Cementing Operations; Land Rig and Jack-Up Rig and Barge Operations; H2S Operations. Knowledge of Well completions operations; Well perforating, Stimulation and well testing operations; Workover operations.
- Fluent in English (demonstrated verbal and written skills).
- Experience in leadership role (formal or informal).
