**Primary purpose of job**
To develop effective environment protection mechanisms and prepare appropriate documentation addressing identification,

maintenance and operations requirements for environmental critical elements and provide technical inputs for the

development of technical codes and standards.

To review, assess and determine quality and relevancy of submitted environmental protection and spill control related

documentation with focus on Petrol Stations for the acceptance by the Lead Technical Risk & Loss Prevention.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Minimum proven experience of 10 years on the management and implementation of methods and systems for protection

and control of environment impacts, as well as the identification of standards and best practices, with focus on Inspection &
Certification Petrol Stations
- Job holder must also have a good knowledge of the selection of appropriate environment prevention, protection and

control systems to address impacts that arise from Petrol Stations operations.
- Job holder must posses a demonstrable abilities in interpreting, reviewing and analysis of environment prevention,
- protection and control systems related documentation to determine acceptability to QatarEnergy’s requirements.- Job holder must be familiar with all relevant and applicable environmental regulations.
- Abilities on writing technical reports and communications.
- Effective communicator, fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.

**Education**
BSc. on environment/chemical engineering or equivalent.
