Doha, Qatar New opening Full time

**Job Purpose**:
Assist in food preparation and basic cooking under the supervision of senior chefs, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization are maintained at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist chefs in preparing ingredients (washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, portioning, marinating, etc.).
- Support in cooking basic dishes as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Ensure mise-en-place (preparation before service) is ready on time.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures in line with HACCP standards.
- Properly store food items and rotate stock as per FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
- Assist in receiving and checking deliveries of food supplies.
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunction to supervisors.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain kitchen hygiene standards.
- Work as part of the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef de Partie / Sous Chef.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training/certificate preferred.
- Previous experience as a kitchen helper, steward, or commis is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
