The Safety Officer will conduct safety inspections, provide training, and ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Develop and Implement Safety Policies**:

- Establish plant safety procedures, protocols, and safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety regulations.
- Communicate and enforce safety guidelines to all plant employees.
- **Conduct Risk Assessments**:

- Identify potential hazards and develop appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Perform regular inspections and audits of equipment, machinery, and workspaces to ensure they are safe and compliant with regulations.
- Investigate any reported incidents, accidents, or near-misses and implement corrective actions.
- **Safety Training and Awareness**:

- Organize and conduct safety training sessions for new employees and regular refresher courses for existing staff.
- Promote a culture of safety through ongoing awareness campaigns and meetings.
- Ensure that employees understand and adhere to the plant's safety policies and practices.
- **Accident Investigation and Reporting**:

- Respond promptly to accidents and emergencies.
- Investigate the cause of accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and provide detailed reports.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- **Safety Audits and Compliance**:

- Carry out regular safety audits and inspections of the plant.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and accident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with all legal safety regulations and standards, including ISO and OSHA.
- **Emergency Preparedness**:

- Develop and update emergency response plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular emergency drills, such as fire and evacuation drills.
- Ensure that emergency equipment is properly maintained and accessible.
- **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)**:

- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment by employees.
- Ensure that all necessary PPE is available and used correctly.
- Replace or upgrade PPE as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or other recognized safety certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in an industrial or plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations and audits.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Risk management and hazard identification.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
- Attention to detail and proactive in problem-solving.
- Training and communication skills to educate the workforce on safety standards.

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Saftey officer in plant field: 4 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Experience Certificates (required)
