**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect plant equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure they are operating according to specifications and industry standards.
- Perform visual inspections, mechanical tests, and measurements on plant systems such as boilers, pumps, piping, electrical systems, HVAC, and structural components.
- Conduct regular inspections of critical equipment, including pressure vessels, piping systems, and rotating machinery to ensure proper function and safety.
- Monitor plant conditions, identifying any signs of wear, corrosion, leaks, cracks, or other issues that may indicate potential failure or safety hazards.
- Ensure all equipment and systems comply with applicable codes, regulations, and plant-specific operating procedures (e.g., OSHA, API, ASME, ANSI).
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, including observations, test results, corrective actions, and recommendations for repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule and execute planned inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of preventive maintenance programs, ensuring equipment uptime and longevity.
- Review technical documentation such as equipment manuals, engineering drawings, and operating procedures to ensure proper inspection and maintenance practices.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations by inspecting systems related to waste management, emissions, and water treatment.
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure adherence to plant safety protocols and standards.
- Identify any potential safety hazards or risks in plant operations and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Report findings to plant supervisors or managers, highlighting critical issues and providing recommendations for resolution.
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting of any plant-related accidents or failures.
- Ensure compliance with plant inspection schedules and regulatory deadlines.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized inspections or testing as needed.
