**Job Summary**:
As a Project Manager working in a multi-functional project management consultancy team within projects of different disciplines and complexities, you will have hands-on experience of working with client teams in a collaborative and integrated manner. You will be required to deliver our projects following the requirements of the EGEC Business Management System, as well as to meet client requirements.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Lead in the development of high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. Ensure regular feedback is shared with staff including timely completion of employee performance appraisals.
- Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
- Develop and improve upon assigned client relationships fostering a “trusted advisor” status.
- Understand and administer EGEC's contract and subcontract agreements.
- Provide leadership to positively influence change.
- Promote EGEC's involvement in the community to help build strategic relationships and to embrace the community in which we live and work.
- Foster and enhance architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.
- Establish, update, and communicate the Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.
- Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
- Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.
- Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.
- Understand, comply and advise others on EGEC's business ethics and compliance programs.
- Demonstrate high standard of persona; accountability and integrity. Mentor staff to the same high standards.
- Manage and oversee field operation and engineering processes and procedures.
- Drive competencies to team on requirements for insurance, labor relations, and employee relations.
- Drive enforcement of safety protocols by the project staff.
- Work with Finance to initiate the Pay Application process and follow up to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.
- Keep management informed on progress for project and budget through regularly scheduled Operations Review Meetings.
- Support and drive utilization of various EGEC initiatives. Promote and utilize emerging technologies and innovations to support Tuner sustainable competitive advantages.
- Provide leadership to foster an environment of diversity and inclusion.
- Assist in establishing robust processes and procedures to manage the project, in consultation and engagement with our commercial and administration departments
- Deliver necessary periodic project reports, to allow senior managers to direct the project appropriately
- Collate, format and distribute information to support program requirements. Cascade to internal and external parties where appropriate.
- Assist in the maintenance and creation of program governance documentation in accordance with the company BMS.
- Support the Risk and Issue management procedure of the project and check that the risk register is updated accordingly.
- Support the delivery of consistent quality management procedures and standards for the program
- Support the Project Manager to facilitate effective resource management across the program
- Support the Change Management Procedure for the project and ensure the change control log is updated accordingly.
- Facilitate effective planning of the works within the project team.
- Deliver necessary periodic project reports, to allow senior managers to direct the project appropriately.
- Deliver information regarding changes and delays that have impacted the project on a period by period basis and propose how these should be resolved / managed.
- Provide support to management for all Program Office functions ensuring that issues within the Program are highlighted and understood
- Facilitate effective planning of the works within the project team
- Ensure all company safety, quality, environmental, commercial and project management procedures are followed as relevant to tasks undertaken

**Qualifications**:
- Degree, in relevant engineering or management discipline.
- UPDA Grade **A* with **15+* years of experience in Project Management.
- Chartered (or approaching) Membership of a relevant professional body.
- Experience of working in major projects with proven Client-side project delivery (design or construction)
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and construction estimating software. BIM (Building Information Modeling) experience is a valuable asset.
