PMO Specialist

Qatar Airways is excited to launch a new opportunity to join our **HR - Management** team as a **PMO Specialist**, reporting to Manager HR PMO. As a PMO Specialist, you will assist the project management office (PMO) within the HR project management domain by developing and maintaining project management standards. The incumbent will provide support on helping to improve the HR PMO governance on processes, procedures, managing project reporting and communication. You will also need to provide project support services and be that source to build the bridge between HR PMO team and internal and external stakeholders. This will include supporting Project Managers on multiple projects. **Other operational duties will include**: - Assisting HR PMO in ensuring that the globally agreed project management framework is being adhered to in Head Office and Outstations. This is to ensure continued operational efficiency along with supporting to facilitate reliable and consistent outcomes across the enterprise. - Ensuring all governance reporting at program and project level is accurate and timely for efficient control of performance of initiatives, with appropriate reporting on timeframes, budget, scope and benefits. - Being vocal and open to new ideas, which will help to improve the current strategic planning process. - Utilizing spreadsheets and databases to offer data visualization for improved decision-making. - Making sure project issues and risks are identified, quantified, managed and tracked. Together, everything is possible. **Qualifications**: **About You** - High School Qualification or Vocational Qualification with Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum **5 years** of job-related experience, **OR** Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum **4 years** of job-related experience. - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent without prior experience for Qatari nationals. - Experience working with broad diverse teams and senior stakeholders; - Strong understanding of project management and data analysis - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - An understanding of cross-functional team structure and processes - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, Project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Clarizen). - Experience in supporting senior meetings, including preparing delivery decks & meeting minutes - Comfortable in engaging with various stakeholder groups.
