Qualifications:
**Minimum Qualifications**
- A Master's or PhD degree in Mathematics or Statistics or a related applied field
- At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience in post-secondary, or higher education institutions

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Post-graduate certificate, diploma, or degree in education teaching methods
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (e.g. D2L) and adaptive learning technologies

**Other Required Skills**
- Commitment to creating and evaluating authentic assessment tools that validly and reliably measure mastery of course learning outcomes while promoting lifelong learning
- Demonstrate ability to use a variety of educational technology and learning platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop technology-enriched learning environments that enable students to be active participants in their education
- Digital literacy and demonstrated fluency in learning management systems and an ability to model and facilitate the use of current and emerging digital platforms committed to student learning and feedback.
- Manage the resources of the learning environment and course portfolio documents required for program review and accreditation processes.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Collaborative and collegial spirit and a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with learners, colleagues
