Role Description

We are looking for a
Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) Expert
for a 4 month
onsite
assignment in Doha, Qatar, with a leading
logistics sector
client. The role will focus on
SOP development and process improvement
across core support and operational functions, including HR, Procurement, Finance, Sales and Maintenance, within a logistics and warehousing environment.

  • Analyze existing business processes and workflows across logistics related functions, including HR, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Maintenance, warehousing and transport
  • Identify bottlenecks, gaps, control weaknesses and inefficiencies in current processes and practices
  • Redesign and streamline processes to improve efficiency, control, compliance and service quality in line with logistics business objectives
  • Develop clear, practical and user friendly SOPs, workflows and process maps for each function and key logistics processes
  • Propose structured process improvement and change management actions, aligned with the client's operational and commercial priorities
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to explain new and updated SOPs to process owners and end users
  • Work closely with department heads and key stakeholders to validate redesigned processes and obtain formal sign offs
  • Support initial implementation of new processes, gather feedback from users and recommend refinements where required
  • Prepare professional documentation, reports and presentations for management and project steering committees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, HR, or a related field, Master's degree is a plus
  • 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in Business Process Re-engineering, SOP development or process improvement
  • Strong experience in drafting SOPs, process maps and related documentation
  • Exposure to, or experience with, logistics, warehousing, transport or supply chain environments is a strong advantage
  • Good understanding of core support functions such as HR, Procurement, Finance, Sales or Maintenance
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with business users and management
  • Ability to work independently, structure work and deliver outputs with minimum supervision
  • Must be available to work
    onsite in Qatar
    for the full duration of the assignment
