We are hiring: Business Analyst – Retail Banking

Location:

About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Retail Banking to join our team. This role requires solid experience in gathering business requirements, driving process improvements, and supporting digital transformation initiatives across retail banking functions.

Key Responsibilities:


• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across retail banking units.


• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.


• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for new initiatives.


• Ensure strong understanding of retail banking products including accounts, deposits, loans, payments, credit cards, and customer onboarding.


• Coordinate with business teams, IT, vendors, and implementation partners throughout the full project lifecycle.


• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and business cases.


• Support UAT by creating test scenarios, executing tests, and validating outcomes.


• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in banking operations.


• Support digital banking initiatives and enhancements for core banking systems and channels.

Required Skills and Experience:


• 6–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 4 years focused on Retail Banking.


• Strong understanding of retail banking operations, workflows, and regulatory requirements.


• Experience working with core banking systems such as Temenos T24, Finacle, Flexcube, or similar.


• Experience in digital banking projects for mobile and internet channels is preferred.


• Proficiency in documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories, process maps) and business analysis tools.


• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is an advantage.


• Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, SQL preferred).

Education:


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related fields.


• Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA are a plus.
