  • macOS basic-to-intermediate support
  • Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) basic commands and troubleshooting

  • Microsoft Office / Office 365
  • Email client configuration (Outlook, IMAP/POP, Exchange)
  • Antivirus installation and policy compliance
  • VPN clients (Cisco AnyConnect, FortiClient, Palo Alto GlobalProtect)
  • Remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP, VNC)

Networking (End-User Level)

  • Basic TCP/IP understanding
  • DHCP/DNS troubleshooting
  • Wi-Fi configuration, network connectivity issues
  • Printer network configuration
  • Knowledge of VLAN & switch port basics (optional but useful)

User Account & Access Management

  • Active Directory (user creation, password reset, group membership)
  • Azure AD / MS Entra basic administration
  • File permissions and shared drive access
  • MFA setup and troubleshooting
  • Identity/SSO troubleshooting (Okta, Azure AD, ADFS)

Endpoint Security

  • Device encryption (BitLocker)
  • Endpoint protection tools (Defender, CrowdStrike, Symantec)
  • USB/Device control policies
  • Safe browsing and malware response basics

IT Service Management Skills

  • Ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, ManageEngine, Remedy, Freshservice)
  • Incident, request, and problem management
  • SLA-driven support mindset
  • Asset management & CMDB updates
  • Documentation of incidents, solutions, and knowledge base articles
