We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Specialist to lead and implement enterprise-wide data governance initiatives.

This will be a 1 year-renewable contract based in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide Data Governance frameworks and platforms.
  • Lead the setup and configuration of Data Catalog, Data Quality, and Data Lineage modules.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define data standards, policies, and ownership models.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and accessibility.
  • Evaluate and integrate Data Governance tools, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of the implemented platform.
  • Drive continuous improvement of data governance practices and data stewardship processes.

Key Requirements:

  • 7–8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related roles.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing enterprise Data Governance platforms, such as:
  • Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Select Star, or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in setting up and managing key modules like Data Catalog, Data Quality, and Data Lineage.
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, data ownership models, and data lifecycle principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
