1. Carry out dismantling, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing of valves in compliance with API/ASME/ISO
standards and customer specifications
2. Supervise and guide junior technicians and helpers during field and workshop valve jobs.
3. Perform lapping, machining, hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, and calibration of valves.
4. Ensure proper use, maintenance, and calibration of valve test benches, tools, and measuring equipment.
5. Verify material specifications, parts replacements, and consumables used during valve repairs.
6. Prepare and maintain accurate service reports, test certificates, and QA/QC documentation.
7. Support job planning and scheduling by coordinating with the Field Services Supervisor and Planning team.
8. Provide technical support during customer and third-party inspections and audits.
9. Ensure housekeeping, discipline, and safe working practices are maintained at job sites and in workshops.
10. Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality in
valve operations
RequirementsRequirements:
- Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- Certification in valve maintenance, testing, or API/ASME standards preferred
- 3-5 Years experience in industrial valve maintenance and testing in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industry
- Available to join immediately
