Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Controller based in Doha, Qatar. The Cost Controller will be responsible for monitoring and managing the hotel's financial transactions, creating cost reports, implementing cost control processes, ensuring adherence to budgets, and analyzing financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities. The role also includes liaising with various departments to develop efficient budgetary practices and ensure efficient resource utilization, contributing to overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management to monitor and manage financial transactions effectively.
  • Strong foundation in Cost Accounting and Finance to drive accurate financial planning and reporting.
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data and identify cost optimization strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and excellent organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with hotel industry financial protocols and prior hospitality experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications in accounting or finance are beneficial.
