Role Description

We are looking for
IT Technical Support Engineer
role based in Doha, Qatar. The position involves providing L1/L2 technical and application support, managing help desk tickets, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and ensuring timely incident resolution.

The technical support engineer will analyze logs, validate data using SQL, support API testing, and coordinate closely with QA and Development teams for issue resolution and release support. Strong communication skills in English and Arabic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage escalations professionally are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in technical support, application support, or customer-facing IT roles.
  • Strong understanding of L1/L2 support processes, ticket lifecycle management, and incident handling.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation, minor controlled data fixes, and reporting extraction.
  • Experience analyzing application and server logs for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with SDLC & STLC processes, bug classification, and release/change-impact workflows.
  • Experience using ticketing systems such as Jira, Freshdesk, ServiceNow, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) is required.
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, Ports) and server/hosting environments is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, with strong client-handling capabilities.
  • Ability to manage escalations professionally, communicate transparently, and maintain service quality.
  • High attention to detail, structured documentation habits, and strong coordination skills with QA and Development teams.
  • Available to join immediately or within one month
