About the role

You will assist in managing all inflight products and catering related procurement requirements required from the relevant stakeholders, helping to set category strategy, interfacing with internal customers and suppliers to ensure best value for the company in line with its strategic, financial and operational requirements.
 

Roles and Responsibilities

To facilitate enhancing procurement processes, systems, policies and procedures to enable procurement department to offer best in class procurement to user departments across QR and subsidiaries.Assist with Category planning, analysis and management through the provision of strategic analysisManaging and optimizing supplier performance, and reduction in total cost of ownership. Negotiations planning and execution with suppliers on costs, commercial and contractual terms.Assisting in definition of supply strategy for relevant product categories to ensure risks are mitigated and QR vision is achieved.Responsible for Tender management and administration for high value and risk projects, running process, troubleshooting and interfacing with all relevant parties.Assisting in setting and achieving of Category KPls and provide competitive advantage.Review and endorse documents submitted by staff for strategy, compliance and best practice.

About You

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business or a Related Field with minimum 6 years of job-related experienceProcurement related vocational qualification and/or educational credits such as CIPS/CPSM.Proven experience in sourcing products and catering related procurement with main focus on aviation or related industry catering and customer experience products.Proven records in Category planning, analysis and managementProven records of building internal stakeholders' relationship by working together to optimize and leverage volumes and specifications, challenging these where required.Compliance at all times with the organization policies and processes.Good understanding and previous experience in setting and achieving category KPIs to achieve targets and provide competitive advantage.
