Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Coffee Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training baristas, team members, and other staff in coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and customer service standards. The Coffee Trainer will also provide ongoing training, conduct workshops, and ensure all coffee-related procedures align with our company's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training & Development:
  • Lead coffee training sessions for new and existing baristas, focusing on espresso preparation, brewing methods, latte art, and customer service.
  • Conduct regular training workshops on coffee knowledge, product updates, and new brewing techniques.
  • Ensure all training materials and resources are up-to-date and aligned with current industry trends.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Deliver detailed training on the different types of coffee beans, roasting methods, and flavor profiles.
  • Educate staff on the proper storage, grinding, and brewing processes to ensure the highest-quality coffee is served.
  • Customer Service & Quality Control:
  • Teach and reinforce excellent customer service techniques, particularly in coffee-based products.
  • Ensure consistent quality and adherence to company standards for all coffee-based beverages.
  • Operational Support:
  • Work closely with the operations team to assess training needs and develop relevant programs.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide feedback on staff performance related to coffee preparation and customer interaction.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay current on coffee industry trends, new brewing equipment, and techniques, and integrate those into training sessions.
  • Develop and implement coffee-related promotional activities to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a barista or coffee professional.
  • Previous experience in a training or supervisory role is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, espresso machines, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and motivate others.
  • Strong passion for coffee and a deep understanding of coffee culture and trends.
  • Certifications:
  • Coffee-related certifications such as Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Barista Skills or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Patient and approachable, with a passion for teaching others.
  • Creative and adaptable, with the ability to develop engaging training content.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR4,500.00 per month
