Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance work. The ideal candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure all building systems, equipment, and facilities are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Plumbing Work:

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems.
  • Diagnose and fix leaks, clogs, and drainage issues.
  • Replace or repair faucets, toilets, and water heaters as needed.

Electrical Work:

  • Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot electrical wiring and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.

General Maintenance:

  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment.
  • Perform basic carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergencies.
  • Maintain tools and ensure safe and clean work areas.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, plumbing, and/or electrical work.
  • Knowledge of maintenance tools, materials, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift or move heavy objects when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or vocational training in plumbing or electrical work.
  • Experience in facility maintenance (residential, commercial, or industrial).
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting.
