Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed CAD drawings for architectural, structural, and MEP designs based on engineers' and architects' specifications.
  • Modify and update drawings according to site instructions, engineering markups, or design changes.
  • Maintain an organized system of all drawings and documentation for easy retrieval and audit compliance.
  • Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure drawings reflect accurate as-built conditions.
  • Assist in the preparation of shop drawings, coordination drawings, and authority submissions.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with Ashghal, Kahramaa, and local authority standards.
  • Support project teams in quantity take-offs and material estimation based on drawings.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of CAD drafting experience, preferably in Qatar.
  • Experience working on Ashghal infrastructure or building projects is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and basic 3D); knowledge of Civil 3D or Revit is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Qatar Construction Standards and local submission requirements.
