Jo Purpose:

The estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for Stainless Steel Fabrication and miscellaneous steel projects.

Job Description:

· Analyze project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine scope and material requirements.

· Prepare accurate cost estimates, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

· Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness.

· Prepare Quotation and submit them within required deadlines.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of steel materials, fabrication techniques, and market pricing.

· Identify potential risks and propose cost-effective solutions.

· Assist in contract negotiations and value engineering initiatives.

· Update and maintain estimation databases and historical cost records.

Key Requirements:

· Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or civil engineering or equivalent.

· 3-5 years of experience in Steel Fabrication

· Proficiency in software Auto Cad / Sketch Up

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills· Understanding of steel fabrication and Installation processes.

· Knowledge of material pricing trends.

· Awareness of construction methodologies and project execution strategies
