Tender Techinal Engineer

This role involves understanding project requirements, analyzing technical specifications, and developing comprehensive, competitive, and compliant tender submissions within deadlines. The position requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to work with engineering, project management, and other internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review tender documents including project drawings, specifications, and scope of work
  • Prepare detailed technical submissions and compliance statements for construction tenders
  • Coordinate with estimation, planning, and design teams for accurate and competitive bids
  • Draft method statements, work programs, technical clarifications, and construction methodologies
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for technical inputs
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required technical documents
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather relevant project data
  • Support the commercial and contracts teams with technical insights during the tender phase

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering or technical engineering within the construction sector in GCC but preferably in Qatar
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and project execution
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Primavera , and technical writing
  • Familiarity with international and local standard
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid UPDA certificate is a plus
