We are seeking a skilled Junior Procurement Specialist with strong experience in local purchasing to manage our sourcing activities within Qatar. The role involves negotiating with local vendors, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality procurement of goods and services, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and select local suppliers based on price, quality, and service.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with local vendors.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs.
  • Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain and update supplier database, purchase records, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local procurement laws, company policies, and standards.
  • Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Resolve any issues regarding delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies.
  • Prepare procurement reports and present updates to management
  • Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in local procurement in Qatar.
  • Strong knowledge of the Qatar market, suppliers, and purchasing regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Valid Qatar driving license (preferred).
  • Preferable Male Candidates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1, QAR1,800.00 per month
