We're expanding our IT team and inviting motivated individuals who are ready to learn, collaborate, and build quality solutions with us. We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is an expert in Power BI and DAX, with strong cloud data engineering capabilities (Azure, Fabric, or GCP) and a proven ability to transform raw data into reliable, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, datasets, and semantic models with advanced DAX calculations.
  • Design and implement data pipelines, transformations, and data quality processes in cloud environments (Azure/Fabric/GCP).
  • Cleanse, transform, and integrate data from a wide variety of heterogeneous data sources including relational databases, cloud services, APIs, and flat files.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and convert them into robust BI and data engineering solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, security, metadata management, and performance optimization.
  • Work closely with data architects, analysts, and engineering teams to maintain high-quality, scalable BI ecosystems.
  • Support continuous improvement of data models, documentation, and development standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, M Query, DAX, report optimization).
  • Strong experience in cloud data engineering using Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with data cleansing, transformation, and preparation using cloud-native tools.
  • Ability to work with and integrate diverse backend systems and data formats (SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, streaming data, flat files, etc.).
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, customer/stakeholder interfacing, and translating business needs into technical solutions.

  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines)
  • Databricks (PySpark/Spark SQL)
  • GCP data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.)
  • Python and relevant data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark)
  • Experience with machine learning or MLOps workflows
  • Strong knowledge of Apache Spark

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of BI engineering or data engineering experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
