The Operations Coordinator / Kitchen & Order Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily kitchen operations, managing production schedules, handling customer and internal orders, and ensuring smooth workflow between the kitchen, sales, and dispatch teams. The role ensures timely production, accurate order fulfillment, and effective inventory control while maintaining quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily kitchen and production activities based on confirmed orders
  • Plan and schedule production to meet deadlines for shop, catering, and bulk orders
  • Receive, verify, and process orders from sales, outlets, and customers
  • Ensure accurate communication between kitchen, sales, and delivery teams
  • Monitor order status and follow up to ensure timely completion and dispatch
  • Manage inventory levels for raw materials, packaging, and finished products
  • Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of stock
  • Supervise kitchen workflow to ensure efficiency and quality standards
  • Maintain production records, order logs, and daily reports
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs
  • Support staff scheduling and coordinate manpower requirements during peak periods

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in kitchen operations, production coordination, or F&B operations
  • Strong understanding of production planning and order management
  • Experience in chocolate, bakery, cake, or catering operations is preferred
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, order tracking systems)
  • Knowledge of inventory control and stock management
