Job Summary

  • Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
  • Identify and define system security requirements
  • Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
  • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
  • Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
  • Implement protections
  • Installation and use of firewalls, data encryption and other security products and procedures
  • Conduct periodic network scans to find any vulnerability
  • Conduct penetration testing, simulating an attack on the system to find exploitable weaknesses
  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, through the use of software that detects intrusions and anomalous system behavior
  • Investigate security breaches
  • Lead incident response, including steps to minimize the impact and then conducting a technical and forensic investigation into how the breach happened and the extent of the damage

Qualifications &
Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT Security
  • ITIL v3 or v4 or any other industry related certification a strong plus
  • At least two technical certifications from CEH, CISSP, CCSP, Security+, MCSE, CCNA – Security, or similar
  • 5+ years of IT Security defense and mitigation experience
  • 3+ years of hands on experience with pen and vulnerability testing
  • Hands on experience with the general IT systems administration experience
  • Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering,
  • 3+ years Telecom or Banking industry experience preferred
