Graduate Development at GHD

Reporting to a Team Leader and collaborating across sectors, your anticipated responsibilities include
Role Overview:
As a
Graduate Mechanical Engineer (Site)
, you will be part of our site-based team, supporting the delivery of mechanical engineering solutions for major
Building and Property
projects. This role offers hands-on experience in construction supervision, quality assurance, and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring mechanical installations on-site to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Support site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare site reports and documentation as required.

To deliver against these responsibilities you will demonstrate:

• An honours degree in relevant subject area
• You will work towards Chartered Engineer or near Chartered status in a relevant professional institution
• Previous use of Computer Aided Design and Modelling is desirable, but not necessary
• Be a problem solver and collaborative teammate with good communication skills
