Key responsibilities and Skills
:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of company IT infrastructure including on-premises data centers and cloud platforms especially with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, security, and databases such as Oracle DB, Oracle WebLogic, MongoDB, and Jasper reporting software.
  • Oversee deployment and optimization of enterprise-grade HR hardware, storage, SPARC hardware.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of client hosted managed datacenter services.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand deployment architecture requirements and provide infrastructure support.
  • Analyze existing architecture and recommend improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Lead network design and security initiatives to protect company assets and client data.
  • Handle configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of database environments with emphasis on Oracle and NoSQL databases.
  • Manage cloud migrations, hybrid infrastructure, and disaster recovery planning within OCI and other cloud platforms.
  • Interface regularly with clients to understand needs, manage expectations, and provide managed infrastructure solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor technical teams to deliver seamless infrastructure and hosting services.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT)/Computer Science/Information Systems/Cybersecurity or related
  • 15 to 20 years' experience in offering Managed IT services to the clients, preferably working with Software development companies

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Good communication skills, able to liaise between technical teams and clients
  • Familiarity with ITIL, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
