Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Electrical Engineer

to join our
Supervision Team in Qatar

. The ideal candidate will have
10-15 years of experience

, particularly in
residential projects

, and must hold a valid
MMUP/UPDA Grade A license

. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record in overseeing the full scope of electrical works during construction and supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor electrical works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, QCS, and international codes/standards.
  • Lead the review and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for electrical systems.
  • Conduct and oversee regular inspections for power, lighting, fire alarm, ELV/low-current, and other electrical installations.
  • Manage and supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of all electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design and technical issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, MMUP regulations, and client standards.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and supervision to junior engineers and inspectors in the team.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance, and provide regular reports to the Project Manager.
  • Identify and address risks, non-conformances, and deviations, recommending corrective actions.
  • Participate in progress meetings, technical workshops, and coordination sessions with clients and contractors.
  • Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's is a plus).
  • 10-15 years of professional experience

, with a strong portfolio in
residential projects

- Valid
MMUP/UPDA Grade A license

(mandatory)
- Proven expertise in construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software and relevant project management tools.
