Job Description

Factory Production Supervisor

Location: Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities

  1. Shop Floor Management

  2. Supervise day-to-day operations across Welding, Paint Shop, Carpentry, and Finishing Units.

  3. Ensure optimal workforce allocation to meet production targets.
  4. Coordinate between teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and improve efficiency.

  5. Maintain strict control over housekeeping and ensure safe, organized, and clean working conditions.

  6. Technical Oversight

  7. Lead and monitor all welding activities: MIG, TIG, Arc, Electric, and Long welding.

  8. Oversee Paint Shop operations, including spray painting, grinding, majoon (putty), finishing, and final spray application.
  9. Supervise Wooden Carpentry work, ensuring precision, quality, and timely deliveries.

  10. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with ISO standards and company SOPs.

  11. Planning & Reporting

  12. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports using MS Office and ERP tools (if applicable).

  13. Track material usage, wastage, and downtime; provide recommendations to reduce costs.

  14. Maintain updated production schedules, work allocations, and resource utilization plans.

  15. Quality & Compliance

  16. Ensure adherence to ISO standards, internal quality benchmarks, and customer specifications.

  17. Support the Quality Control team to resolve non-conformities and conduct root cause analyses.

  18. Coordinate with HR and HSE departments to ensure safety training, toolbox talks, and compliance.

  19. Team Leadership & Coordination

  20. Manage a multi-skilled workforce of welders, painters, carpenters, helpers, and operators.

  21. Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to improve technical skills and workplace discipline.
  22. Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, and Planning teams to ensure material availability and cost efficiency.
  23. Motivate the team to achieve production targets without compromising on quality or safety.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, spray painting processes, and wooden carpentry operations.
  • Hands-on experience with ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards and related documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
