Candidate Requirements: (Mechanical Engineers Only and is currently residing in Doha)

  • Valid UPDA certification as MECHANICAL ENGINEER (minimum Grade C) – mandatory
  • QCD certification – considered an advantage
  • Must be currently residing in Qatar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical estimation within an MEP contracting company in Qatar
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems
  • Proven ability to interpret tender documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and value engineering proposals.
  • Experience in coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and technical compliance
  • Familiarity with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local authority requirements
  • Skilled in using estimation software and Excel-based costing tools
  • Ability to prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals within tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing project scope and identifying risks
