Position: Traffic Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer with over 6 years of hands-on expertise, specifically with Public Works Authority (PWA) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, submit, and obtain approvals for Traffic Diversion Plans (TDP) from relevant authorities, including Ashghal and other local bodies.
  • Coordinate with project teams to develop site-specific traffic management strategies in line with project timelines.
  • Ensure full compliance with PWA regulations.
  • Review project drawings and conduct site inspections to ensure suitability of proposed traffic solutions.
  • Monitor ongoing traffic diversions and suggest modifications for improved flow and safety when required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with PWA (Ashghal) projects is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of securing approvals for TDPs and managing their execution on site.
  • Strong knowledge of local traffic regulations and authority procedures.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Valid Qatari Driving License
  • Available to join immediately

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or other traffic design software.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
