Inspection and Auditing:
Performing site inspections, material inspections, and internal audits to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Compliance Monitoring:
Ensuring all project activities, from fabrication to commissioning, comply with relevant codes, standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, ISO), and client requirements.
Quality Reporting:
Preparing comprehensive quality reports, non -conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action reports (CARs).
Coordination:
Collaborating with project management, consultants, and contractors to resolve quality -related issues and ensure smooth project execution.
QE Approval:
This is the crucial element, meaning the QA/QC professional's work, such as proposed work procedures or the execution of inspections, must receive the official approval or sign -off from the Quality Engineer (QE) before proceeding or being considered complete.
