Position: SAP Consultant – JVA (Joint Venture Accounting)
Duration: 12 months – extendable
Location: Qatar

Job Purpose:
Expert in SAP JVA/FICO modules. Work with in-house team to support IT Finance department.

• Expertise in Month-End Activities:
o General Ledger (GL)
o Controlling (CO)
o Joint Venture Accounting (JVA)

• Implementation & Support:
o Should have worked in multiple implementation and support cycles.

• Financial closing cockpit (FCC):
o Expert in FCC and FCC-based progress reporting.

Key Responsibilities
1. Experience in SAP JVA module (3-4 years), FI (usually at least years) - General Ledger (GL),
Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Accounting.
2. Configuration of SAP JVA, FI, CO modules in IMG based on business requirements.
3. To support the design, development, testing, and implementation of FICO/JVA a robust monthend closing in S/4 HANA system.
4. Candidate should have strong technical & documentation skills. The applicant should also have
expertise in the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP S/4 HANA–
FICO/JVA functional areas.
5. Assisting in testing process to discover errors and issues in business processes, documentation
or user's lack of experience
6. Cooperating with consultants from other modules such as MM, PM, PP and PS
7. Serve as a key JVA resource for business teams to help define, estimate, and propose solution
for business opportunities.
8. Accountable for developing and executing planned support and project deliveries
9. Collaborate with Finance to develop specifications for system enhancements for continuous
improvement.
10. Perform requirements analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of JVA/FICO
applications and reporting solutions.
11. Create test plans, test cases, and perform functional testing.
12. Develop and maintain user documentation and provide training for system users
13. Support for business testing users, fixing UAT issues and testing the fixes
14. Provide end user support during enhancements, upgrades and implementations as needed.
15. Responding and providing support to other activities and initiatives deemed necessary to ensure
successful day-to-day operations
16. Responsible for immediate SAP production issues 

Qualification

• Professional degree in Finance & Accounting.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP FICO, specifically with Lease Accounting.
Certification is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Strong Business knowledge and configuration experience in JVA processes, familiar with joint
venture concepts such as Joint venture funding, cash-calls, cutback, billing etc.

• Strong CO experience particularly in cost allocation, settlement of various cost objects such as
orders and Work break down structures.

• Team Collaboration:
o Willing to work in a team environment.
