Job Objective:

The Legal Advisor is responsible for providing legal guidance to management and various departments within the organization, ensuring that all decisions and activities comply with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves protecting the company's legal interests, minimizing potential legal risks, and supporting sound decision-making through expert legal counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard the company's legal rights with third parties.
  • Provide legal consultations on contracts, agreements, and internal policies.
  • Draft, review, and revise contracts and legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable local and international laws.
  • Analyze and interpret new laws and regulations and advise on their potential impact on the company.
  • Provide legal support in negotiations with external parties.
  • Prepare legal memoranda and periodic reports for senior management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all legal information and company data.
  • Coordinate with external law firms when needed and monitor their performance.
  • Contribute to the development of internal policies and procedures to ensure full legal compliance.
  • Review and approve all electronic contracts and documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in law (Master's degree in Law or Legal Studies is preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal advisory or law practice.
  • Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations (especially Labor Law, Corporate Law, and Contract Law).
  • Excellent legal analysis and precise drafting skills.
  • Proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written); proficiency in Legal English is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • High level of professional integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to legal ethics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in dealing with government and regulatory authorities.
  • Knowledge of international or commercial law, especially when working with multinational companies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage legal disputes and crises effectively.
