Role Description

Celestia is seeking a Project-Based Event Designer based in Qatar.

This role offers flexibility, with the option to work on-site, remotely, or in a hybrid setup depending on project requirements.

The Event Designer will play a key role in transforming creative concepts into visually compelling and well-executed event designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and support the execution of events aligned with client goals and creative direction

  • Design and produce high-quality 3D and 2D models, layouts, and visual renders

  • Develop creative design concepts for events, either in small scale or large scales and for indoor and outdoor events.

  • Translate concepts into professional visual presentations and technical drawings

  • Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm, refine, and elevate design ideas

  • Manage design tasks independently while meeting strict project timelines and deadlines

  • Prepare detailed design data, specifications, and layouts in advance of execution

  • Recommend suitable vendors, materials, and sourcing locations to ensure accurate implementation of the design vision

  • Stay updated on design trends, materials, and emerging tools within the event and creative industries

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven creative experience in Event Design and Event Planning

  • Strong proficiency in design software, including 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator

  • Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools such as Blender or SketchUp

  • Solid understanding of design principles, spatial planning, and color theory

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

  • Eagerness to learn and stay current with evolving design technologies

  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical design work

  • Updated with the latest trends.
