Job designation:- Instrument & Control System Engineer

Job location:- Qatar

Job Description:-

  • Instrument & Control engineering, construction and commissioning capability

of LNG/Gas (CO2/H2/Ammonia) plant

  • Engineering/design of Instrument & Control and packaged equipment,

including co-operation for other engineers/other disciplines, Vendors

(Manufactures) and Client

  • Professional experience and extensive knowledge in LNG/Gas

(CO2/H2/Ammonia) plant

  • Control system experience of Emerson (DeltaV), Schneider Electric (Foxboro

/ Triconex) is preferred.

  • Brownfield modification experience is preferred including interface activities

with client such as generation of Method Statement, etc.

Responsibilities

  • General


• Ensure that the engineering/design is carried out in professional manner

within the allotted hours.


• Ensure that all relevant procedures are adhered to.


• Support procurement/expediting, construction and commissioning groups.


• Support inspection and test, as required.


• Coordination with client, vendor.

  • Engineering


• Review 'Invitation To Bidders (ITB)' provided by Client.


• Carry out verification of engineering documents (e.g. P&ID, Cause & Effect

diagram, Control Narrative, Interlock description, etc.) from other

disciplines.


• Prepare Control System specifications, System Architecture, Control

Description including Instrument and Mechanical packages.


• Prepare other instrument deliverables.


• Prepare inquiry including material requisition for Instrument & Control

System related work in bids.


• Carry out Technical Bids Evaluation (TBE) and prepare TBE reports.


• Prepare supporting documents to Purchase Order (PO).


• Review and approve Vendor documents.


• Resolution of major issues during engineering, construction and

commissioning

Qualification:- Bachelor's degree in Instrument & Control Engineering

Career

  • More than 10 years of instrument engineering experience

  • More than 2 projects in LNG/Gas (CO2/H2/Ammonia) plant

  • Construction or commissioning experience in LNG/Gas (CO2/H2/Ammonia)

plant
