  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Engineer to join our team, specializing in the execution of both luxury villa and large-scale commercial building projects. The ideal candidate must hold a valid UPDA (Urban Planning and Development Authority) certificate, which is a mandatory requirement for practicing engineering in Qatar. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and design review to site supervision and project handover, ensuring all work adheres to stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards within Qatar. Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage construction projects for villas and commercial buildings, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Certification: MUST possess a valid UPDA Engineering Registration Certificate in Qatar (Grade C or above ).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing both residential (villa) and commercial building projects in Qatar is highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, structural elements, and finishing works.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel). Knowledge of Primavera P6 is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication (English and ideally Arabic), negotiation, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • License: A valid Qatar Driving License may be required.
  • UPDA Compliance: Act as the certified engineer on site, ensuring all construction activities strictly comply with Qatari building codes (QCS 2014/2019).
  • Site Supervision: Supervise daily site operations, coordinating closely with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and laborers to maintain workflow and quality standards.s.
  • Health & Safety (HSE): Implement and enforce robust HSE protocols to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all local safety regulations.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Identify potential issues on-site and provide effective, timely engineering solutions to prevent delays or non-compliance.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, method statements, material submittals, change orders, and snag lists.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with clients, consultants, local authorities, and third-party inspectors to facilitate approvals and smooth project execution.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: QAR5, QAR7,000.00 per month
