The Female Aquatics Trainer will lead and deliver a wide range of specialized aquatic fitness programs including Water in Motion, 3/15 Aqua Cardio, Aqua Tabata, Aqua Gym, Aqua Kick Boxing, and Aqua Whole Body. She is responsible for creating safe, effective, and engaging water-based sessions tailored to different fitness levels, while ensuring participant safety, motivation, and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Delivery

  • Conduct high-energy and technique-driven aquatic classes including:
  • Water in Motion
  • 3/15 Aqua Cardio
  • Aqua Tabata (HIIT-style)
  • Aqua Gym (functional fitness)
  • Aqua Kick Boxing
  • Aqua Whole Body (full-body conditioning)
  • Ensure proper form, intensity modification, and safe movement patterns during all sessions.
  • Adapt programs for different fitness levels, ages, and client needs.

Safety & Supervision

  • Maintain a vigilant presence to ensure participant and pool safety at all times.
  • Enforce all water safety protocols, including proper equipment use.
  • Respond to emergencies using established lifeguard, CPR, and first-aid procedures.

Client Guidance & Engagement

  • Provide motivation, corrections, and individualized attention during sessions.
  • Track client progress and adjust training plans to improve strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for female participants and families.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Prepare class plans, attendance sheets, and session reports.
  • Manage poolside equipment setup and sanitization.
  • Assist with pool opening/closing procedures and water quality checks (as assigned).
  • Support special programs, challenges, and aquatics promotions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certification in Aquatics Fitness or Water Aerobics Instruction (e.g., AEA, AUSTSWIM, Red Cross, STA, Water in Motion certification preferred).
  • Strong background in leading aquatic fitness formats including cardio, HIIT, functional training, and martial-arts-based movement.
  • Valid Lifeguard Certification.
  • Current CPR & First Aid certification.
  • Excellent swimming skills and knowledge of pool safety standards.
  • Ability to teach diverse female groups with energy and professionalism.
