Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager – Mechanical to oversee and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities for our projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all works comply with project specifications, international standards, and client quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Oversee all mechanical QA/QC activities including HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Drainage, Potable Water Systems, and associated mechanical installations.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, ASME, API), and client/consultant standards.
  • Coordinate inspections with consultants/clients and ensure timely closure of NCRs, RFIs, and Corrective/Preventive Actions.
  • Supervise QA/QC Engineers, Inspectors, and Document Controllers.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and subcontractor audits.
  • Review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, MIRs, WIRs, method statements, and test reports.
  • Verify calibration of equipment, test instruments, and ensure traceability.
  • Monitor site installation quality, testing & commissioning procedures.
  • Maintain all QA/QC reports, logs, and documentation required for project handover.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, HSE team, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in QA/QC Mechanical for construction projects in GCC
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction QA/QC processes, and international standards.
  • Experience working with main contractors or large-scale projects (buildings, infrastructure, MEP).
  • Certification in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (IRCA approved)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and ensure strict quality compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant QA/QC software/tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR14, QAR16,000.00 per month
