QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and inspection plans in compliance with project requirements.

· Review and approve ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.

· Conduct site inspections, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

· Monitor welding, coating, hydrotesting, and fabrication activities for compliance with approved procedures.

· Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and quality documentation.

· Support project teams during audits, surveillance, and handover documentation.

· Ensure compliance with Qatar Energy and international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.

· Minimum 5–8 years' experience in QA/QC roles within oil & gas or industrial EPC projects.

· Previous experience in QatarEnergy projects is highly preferred.

· Certified in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor; additional certifications (CSWIP, NDT Level II, BGAS, etc.) are an advantage.

· Strong understanding of QA/QC documentation, testing procedures, and project handover requirements.

· Excellent communication and reporting skills.
