Primary Purpose of the Job

To manage all Workover Well Engineering activities in IDD EL-SHARGI to ensure that all wells are adequately designed and can be constructed and maintained over the full well life cycle safely and efficiently.

Required Experience and Skills

Experienced professional with a proven management track record including at least 15 years of experience in Drilling and Workover Engineering of which 5 years in a supervisory role.

Mastery in HSE Management, Well Control, Well Design, Drilling Engineering, Project Management, and Risk Management (incl. Risk assessment and Management of Change)

Extensive Tendering, Contracting, and Contract Management Experience.

Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with the ability to challenge and motivate staff to deliver against strict timelines.

Ability to negotiate and resolve complex technical problems, based on systematic and logical thinking with rigorous attention to detail.

High energy and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding performance, with a "can do" attitude.

Excellent verbal and written skills in English.

Educational Qualifications

Minimum BSc. Engineering Degree.
