Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned's Club, a private members' club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis I to join our fine-dining culinary team in a luxury hotel environment. The ideal candidate will support senior chefs in delivering exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie in daily food preparation and service
  • Prepare and present dishes according to fine-dining and luxury brand standards
  • Ensure mise en place is prepared efficiently and on time
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at all times
  • Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards strictly
  • Assist with stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients
  • Support the team during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Previous experience as Commis I or Commis II in a fine-dining restaurant or luxury hotel
  • Basic culinary education or professional kitchen training preferred
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
