Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled
Welding Inspector
with strong experience in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise inspecting offshore structures, including
modules, jackets, topsides
, and related fabrication works. This is a long-term contract position with potential for extension based on performance and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct welding inspections in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Review and verify WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records.
  • Monitor welding processes, consumables, and parameters to ensure compliance.
  • Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, and interpretation of NDT reports.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards across all welding activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum
    8+ years of experience
    in Oil & Gas projects.
  • Mandatory experience
    in offshore structures (modules, jackets, topsides, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of international welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME, API, etc.).
  • Certification in AWS/CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to join immediately.
