Sourcing Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced
Sourcing Project Lead
to drive and manage end-to-end sourcing activities for major industrial, utilities, and environmental projects. This role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing tendering processes, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring timely procurement of critical materials, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complete sourcing cycles, including RFQ/RFP preparation, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization.
  • Develop and implement project-specific sourcing strategies aligned with cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project management teams to validate specifications and procurement scopes.
  • Manage supplier communication, performance tracking, and issue resolution throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Oversee material procurement schedules, ensure compliance with procedures, and maintain sourcing documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to supplier qualification and performance assessment activities.

Qualifications and Experience:


Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.


Experience:

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement within industrial services, utilities, environmental solutions, water treatment, or related sectors.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier management processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
  • Solid understanding of procurement compliance, commercial evaluation, and market analysis.
