Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator, based in Doha, Qatar. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for maintenace and manufacturing projects. Daily tasks include reviewing technical documents and specifications, analyzing costs, preparing and submitting bid proposals, and collaborating with Bahrain head office and project managers and other departments to ensure alignment with project goals and client requirements. The role involves cost analysis, vendor negotiations, and continuous monitoring of project expenditures.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in cost estimation, project costing, and proposal preparation for construction, manufacturing, and maintenance services.
  • Strong technical understanding of processes related to Shutdowns, pipeline, storage tanks, and fabrication.
  • Knowledge of material, labor, and equipment requirements for projects
  • Experience in procurement, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in using estimation and project management software tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Professional experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
