Facade Draftsman

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Façade Draftsman to produce precise technical drawings and fabrication details for a wide range of façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and aluminum systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in façade design and drafting, and a solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed facade drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Develop shop drawings and fabrication drawings for curtain walls, aluminum systems, cladding panels, and glazing assemblies
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce coordinated facade drawings
• Work closely with facade engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design intent and technical accuracy
• Revise drawings based on markups and coordination feedback
• Assist in the preparation of materials take-offs and quantity estimates based on approved drawings.
• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation according to project standards
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, facade standards, and client specifications
  

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field
• Previous working experience in the facade works.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
• Familiarity with facade systems such as curtain walls, aluminum composite panels (ACP), unitized systems, glass façades, and stone cladding
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Good understanding of construction techniques, materials, and installation methods used in facade works
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
