Job Description

Job Specific Education & Certification:

  • Professional Engineering degree in Electrical
  • Experience range required 6-10 years.
  • Experience with advanced proposal management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of international standards and regulations related to electrical equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Proposal Development:

  2. Analyze client requirements and specifications to create detailed and competitive proposals for low voltage electrical panels, UPS systems, and explosion-proof equipment.

  3. Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client needs and industry standards.

  4. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.

  5. Client Interaction:

  6. Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the proposal phase, addressing technical queries and providing timely responses.

  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  8. Project Estimation:

  9. Conduct thorough cost estimations, including labour, materials, and overheads, to develop accurate pricing for proposals.

  10. Analyse project scope and requirements to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  11. Technical Support:

  12. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the proposal and pre-sales phases.

  13. Stay updated on industry trends, product advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure proposals reflect the latest standards and technologies.

  14. Documentation and Reporting:

  15. Prepare and maintain comprehensive proposal documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and compliance certificates.

  16. Generate reports on proposal status, including win/loss ratios and feedback, to support continuous improvement

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Participate in internal meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to enhance proposal quality and effectiveness.
