Senior Engineer – CCTV Systems

​We are looking for an experienced CCTV Systems & VMS IntegrationEngineer with a strong background in Video Management Systems (VMS), APIs,SDKs, and multi -platform integration.The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, andintegration of various third -party VMS platforms — such as Milestone, Genetec,Honeywell, Dahua, Hikvision, Axis, and Pelco — into a unified Master VMSplatform, and further integration with the Video Analytics layer and Smart Cityoperating platform (City OS).This role requires deep technical knowledge of VMS architecture,communication protocols, data streaming technologies, and system sizing forboth on -premises and cloud infrastructures.Key Responsibilities· Lead the integration design andimplementation of multiple vendor VMS platforms into a Master VMS interface andonward to the Video Analytics and Smart City platform.· Develop and validate integrationworkflows using VMS APIs, SDKs, and Web Services (RESTful, SOAP, JSON, XML).· Ensure seamless interoperabilitybetween heterogeneous CCTV systems (Milestone, Genetec, Honeywell, Dahua,Hikvision, Axis, Pelco, etc.) and third -party applications.· Define data exchange formats, commandsets, and event triggers between VMS, Master VMS, and analytics engines.· Design system architecture diagramsillustrating communication paths, data flow, and bandwidth distribution betweenedge devices and control centers.· Conduct performance and scalabilityanalysis for high -density camera deployments across multiple network zones.· Perform bandwidth estimation andstorage sizing calculations for NVRs, servers, and cloud resources based onresolution, frame rate, compression type, and retention period.· Evaluate and optimize video streamingtechnologies (RTSP, ONVIF, RTP, WebSocket, HLS) to ensure real -time performanceand redundancy.· Interface with network andcybersecurity teams to define secure data transmission protocols and VLANsegmentation.· Collaborate with Smart City OS /Command Centre teams to publish CCTV data feeds to the analytics engine andvisualization dashboards.· Conduct integration and performancetesting, including API call validation, latency measurement, and failurerecovery scenarios.· Troubleshoot multi -vendor integrationissues and develop corrective action plans with OEM technical support.· Prepare technical documentation,including ICDs (Interface Control Documents), data mapping sheets, and APIusage references.· Support proof -of -concept (POC) testingand demonstrations to validate integration between legacy and new systems.· Ensure compliance with projectcybersecurity, bandwidth optimization, and video quality standards. RequirementsQualifications & Experience· Bachelor's or Master's degree inElectronics, Communication, Computer Science, or IT Engineering.· 8–15 years of hands -on experience inCCTV, VMS, and security system integration for large -scale or smartinfrastructure projects.· Deep expertise in VMS platforms,including but not limited to:o   Milestone XProtecto   Genetec Security Centero   Honeywell Pro -Watch / MAXPROo   Dahua DSS / IVSSo   Hikvision iVMS / HikCentralo   Axis Camera Station / Pelco VideoXpert· Strong working knowledge of VMS APIs,SDKs, and integration frameworks.· In -depth understanding of videostreaming protocols (RTSP, ONVIF, RTP, HTTP, WebSocket, HLS, MPEG -DASH).· Expertise in system design, networkarchitecture, and integration documentation.· Proven experience with bandwidth andstorage sizing, including load calculations for on -prem and hybrid cloudsetups.· Familiarity with virtualization, cloud(Azure/AWS/GCP) video infrastructure, and container -based deployments.
