DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for Piping Designer in Doha-Qatar

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design, with strong proficiency in:
  • MicroStation
  • SmartPlant 3D (SP3D)
  • PDS (Plant Design System)
  • AutoCAD
  • Good understanding of piping materials, fittings, valves, and equipment layout.
  • Experience in brownfield and greenfield projects is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design piping systems using SP3D, PDS, MicroStation, and AutoCAD.
  • Prepare detailed piping layout drawings, isometrics, and material take-offs (MTOs).
  • Interpret and implement P&IDs, piping specifications, and engineering inputs into 3D models and 2D drawings.
  • Coordinate with process, mechanical, structural, and instrumentation disciplines for clash-free design.
  • Modify piping models and drawings based on engineering changes and site feedback.
  • Manage and maintain drawing databases and ensure timely delivery of design packages.
