Job Overview

The Financial Analyst will support GeoSoft's finance function by conducting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. With 5+ years of experience, the role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting decision-making, improving efficiency, and ensuring financial governance across projects and operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's or CFA/CPA preferred).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial reporting software.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards and financial best practices.

Experience

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proven background in developing budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
  • Experience in project-based or multinational environments preferred.
  • Track record of supporting business strategy with financial insights.

  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support budgeting processes and ensure alignment with company strategy.
  • Monitor project and operational costs, ensuring financial discipline and governance.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to provide financial insights for growth initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
